Which Claude plans can add LeadMind?

Custom connectors work on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Free accounts can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an owner adds the connector for the organization and each member then connects their own LeadMind account.

Do I need to paste an API key into Claude?

No. The connector signs in with OAuth: you log in to LeadMind in the browser and approve access. Leave the OAuth Client ID and Secret fields in Advanced settings empty; LeadMind registers Claude as a client automatically.

Does it work in Claude Desktop and on mobile?

Yes. Claude reaches LeadMind from Anthropic’s cloud rather than from your device, in every Claude app. Add the connector under Customize → Connectors in the web or desktop app, then enable it in any chat.

Why does Claude say the job is still running?

Lead jobs run for 2 to 15 minutes. Claude starts the job, then checks it with get_job_status. If the chat moves on, ask “check my LeadMind job” and it picks up the same job; nothing is charged twice.

Remove the connector from Customize → Connectors in Claude, and revoke Claude’s access from Settings in the LeadMind console. Revoking there stops every token Claude holds straight away.

Use LeadMind in Claude: custom connector setup

Add LeadMind to Claude as a custom connector and ask for leads in the chat: “30 physiotherapy clinics in Dubai Marina with WhatsApp”. Claude runs a live LeadMind job, answers its clarifying question with you, and hands back a scored table and a CSV link. One URL, OAuth sign-in, no key to copy.

Before you start

A Claude plan with custom connectors. Free (one custom connector), Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector first; see the steps below.
A LeadMind account. The free plan starts with 25 credits, no card needed. Email verification tools need a paid plan.

Add the connector (Free, Pro and Max)

In Claude on the web or in Claude Desktop, open Customize → Connectors, click + and choose Add custom connector.
Name it LeadMind and paste the MCP server URL below. Leave Advanced settings empty.
Click Add, then Connect. A LeadMind sign-in opens: log in and approve the access screen, which names Claude as the app asking.
In a chat, click + at the lower left, open Connectors and switch LeadMind on for that conversation.

Team and Enterprise workspaces

An owner opens Organization settings → Connectors, clicks Add, chooses Custom then Web, and enters the same URL. Members then find LeadMind under Customize → Connectors marked Custom and click Connect to sign in with their own LeadMind account, so each person’s jobs, credits and caps stay their own.

Claude calls create_lead_job right away. If the location is ambiguous the job pauses with one question; answer it in the chat and Claude passes it on with clarify_job at no extra cost. When the job is delivered Claude reads the leads and offers the CSV.

What Claude can do with LeadMind

Keeping spend under control

A job never holds more than your balance, or the budget you name (“spend at most 40 credits”). One credit is charged per delivered lead; leads that fail a filter, duplicates and failed jobs cost nothing. A connection signed in with OAuth, like this one, also stops at 1,000 credits a day.

Troubleshooting

Claude answers without using LeadMind. The connector is off for that chat: switch it on under + → Connectors, or say “use LeadMind”.
The sign-in window closes without connecting. Pop-up blockers and a LeadMind session in another browser profile are the usual causes. Allow pop-ups for claude.ai, then click Connect again.
You cannot add a second connector on Free. Free accounts get one custom connector; remove the other one to add LeadMind.
A job says it needs clarification. That is by design: answer the question in the chat and the same job continues.
