Every limit is enforced from the same table the API reads. Responses carry X-RateLimit-* headers so your integration can pace itself. Dashboard traffic has its own bucket, so integrations never lock you out.

Questions people actually ask
- Can I see what a list looks like before I pay?
- Yes. Download a sample CSV with the exact columns of a real export, or watch the live demo.
- What does the score mean?
- Each row gets a 0–100 fit score against your prompt, judged by a language model from the business name, category, website and location, with a one-line reason. It measures how well the lead matches what you asked for. It is not a deliverability or intent score.
- How fresh is the data?
- Every job runs a live scrape when you submit it — we do not resell a stored database. Rows are as current as the public source at that moment; contact fields are then encrypted and deduped against your last 30 days.
- What is a credit?
- One credit is one delivered lead. Planning a job is free. If a job delivers fewer leads than planned, you are only charged for what arrived; the rest of the hold is released.
- Is there a subscription?
- Yes. A plan gives you a monthly lead allowance and higher API limits. Packs still work on any plan, including Free. There are no seats, minimums or contracts, and you can cancel any time from the billing portal.
- Do included leads roll over?
- No. Included leads reset at the start of every billing period and unused ones expire. Pack credits never expire, so buy a pack for anything you do not want to lose.
- What happens when I run out?
- Included leads are used first. When they are gone, pack credits are used. With neither left, the API answers 402 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS until you top up or the period resets.
- What happens if a job fails?
- Held credits are released automatically. You never pay for a failed or cancelled job. Full details in the refund policy.
- Is there a sandbox?
- Yes. Create a test key (lp_test_…) in Settings. It runs the whole job flow against fixture data without spending credits or calling any provider, so you can build your integration before you pay.
- Where does the data come from?
- Public business data: Google Maps listings, business directories and company websites, with LinkedIn public pages used only to fill gaps. We normalize, dedupe and score it. We do not sell personal data lists.
- Can my AI assistant spend credits?
- Yes, through an API key with a daily credit cap you set. A job the assistant starts is capped at your balance (or the budget you name) and at the key's daily cap, so it can never spend more than you allowed.
